American History according to D.C. on The Peak
So there's this radio personality that I like. He's funny, but vapid. Today, during the morning show discussion of the July 4th holiday, he showed just how vapid. Here are some things that he (American born, both parents in the US military) believed to be true:
1. July 4th became a holiday to celebrate the birth of The Firecracker. 2. The whole world celebrates July 4, due to #1. 3. Moriarty, NM, is the national headquarters of The Firecracker. 4. The US invented The Firecracker. 5. The US existed before China did. 6. The US colonies gained their independence from what country? First answer: Iraq. Second answer: Vermont.
